One bet for us today after a week without a bet, I tend to be a little less active as the transition from flat to jumps occurs as it’s pretty poor fair to be honest.
I’m glad to say our bet was a nice winner in the shape of RENARD (2PTS WIN @5/2 B.O.G. PAID 4/1SP), I thought that his 7lb hike for winning last week was very fair given the ease of which he won, Today’s race was of similar quality and even though I felt he struggled a tad with the very soft looking going, he sat 3rd most of the way round and gained the upper hand between the 2nd last and last fence to win very well at an amazingly generous SP.
Looking to the rest of the week, it doesn’t look that inspiring but that can be misleading as there is very often good value to be had in these lesser events, I don’t like very small fields though and that is the only disappointment with some of these low grade winter jumps races.
Hope you are all winning lots 🙂
